@izaya hmm. it's not already? I doubt it would matter much.
@nia just needs a bangin' UI and you've got a promising startup
@aral IDK. what if I'm writing effective, efficient software for a killer robot that can carry out extrajudicial assasinations? My code makes an excellent murderer, but I'm a bad developer?
@foxcpp If that's your only gripe, you know there are some easy ways to speed up Ansible execution times (mostly related to SSH connections.. "Pipelining": https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/reference_appendices/config.html#ansible-pipelining (admittedly, the documentation for this is spare)
"SSH Multiplexing (ControlPersist, ControlMaster)": https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/linux-unix-reuse-openssh-connection/
Set "UseDNS" option to "no" on managed hosts -- helps, esp. if you cannot be bothered to set up DNS.
@freemo so, this is on the way to explaining why our universe is mostly matter and not antimatter which is why it's a big deal? Is that confidence interval considered relatively narrow in this case?

@Jagesta well, comrade, I do like to boogie down 🕺
@izaya
sad to think we could be in the cyberpunk dystopia. you check the boxes though, and yeah it looks an awful lot like Snow Crash. minus the bizarre mind control plot.
@izaya oh, I don't say background characters are uninteresting. Formally, the defining trait of a protagonist is that they end up some place different (emotionally/mentally) at the end of the story, right? I guess the difference is just what span of time you look at and where you focus.
@Jagesta a revolution, you say? good thing you got off Tinder. The revolutionary has no time for dating: They marry the Cause
@tk true, true.
@tk I guess I get it -- helps when dealing with other ppls code. I somewhat resent type annotations in Python because I like the dynamic typing compared with the shortcomings of Java's type system (esp. with generics and collections :P).
@hecate what's wrong with mongodb?
@tk is it, *really*?
weird #python fact: you can actually give a class pretty much any name you want using `type`: special chars (including periods!), spaces, numerals
