@freemo isn't it all kinda B.S.? It would make more sense to have the benefit tied to local economic conditions. I guess there would be fights over percentages of one kind or another though... The less abstract point is that poor and and out-of-work people had some certainty when the deal was reached and they lost it because the president wanted to...idk... kick a political football?
Merry Christmas. Remember, its a time for good will, you dont need to look far to find the homeless or a stranger in need.

pretty good for a laugh
> Some say that demons can inhabit the body while the soul is being projected. [...] It is only hearsay anyway and seeing as you'll have already asked for light protection nothing bad will occur.
@izaya @dvshkn@mastodon.technology I feel like they're trollin' making 1024x768 the default desktop wallpaper size (or is that still a common monitor res in the general population?)
Happy winter/summer solstice!
The flower is from mid-summer, and is a reminder that the light will always return.

Apparently, with transcranial brain stimulation, a patient can't necessarily tell whether or not they're receiving stimulation after onset. To me, not being familiar with physiology of response to electrical current, that's rather surprising.

@freemo the tweet reply is off-base though. NDT's tweet (from back in July) said "European colonial history". It wasn't making "all history" about Europeans

A wonderful visualization of the often unknown Quaternions (a generalization of complex numbers into 4 dimensions).
Is anyone else annoyed by that thing in the #gnome file save dialog where if you back out of a directory and then click "Save" you're taken back into the directory you just navigated away from so you have to go two directories up to save the file where you wanted?
