@Alonealastalovedalongthe maybe it's just the communities I lurk in, but the latter isn't too uncommon.

@soup_reviews 🤷 never asked and, sadly, I didn't keep in touch with her. I guess she liked where she lived and it made business sense to fly out every weekend?

Good to know I have been consistently going against recommendations for mask wear at work. Frequently doff and don the mask during the day to drink water, have a snack. Never wash my hands after taking the mask off. Super-fail.

@izaya 🤷 I'll take your word for it . I don't play games - I just watch let's plays and admire screenshots 😆

@izaya That's an exceptionally pretty game

have you ever *looked* at the lists of ad affiliates on those cookie use notices? you can scroll and scroll for seconds and not reach the end of the list

@lupyuen so this is basically a typosquatter's toolkit?

I *broke* my phone's screen while *fixing* a whole in my wall...is that ironic? better get Alanis on that one

@izaya the minbari religious concepts are kinda animistic or something, right? Like they believe that the universe has some spirit and conscious entities are the universe exploring itself or something. like people are mirrors or lenses or smth

@navitux my problem is that I've seen almost nothing (except for Sita, which I mentioned) that's really good made with it. Either good artists aren't using it for serious work, or they're being really quiet about it. The former would be a bad sign: suggests poor alignment with user needs. The latter is improbable: awesome users tend to evangelize the tools that help them be awesome.

@navitux can we stop boosting synfig? at this point, Blender appears to be a better 2D animation package. "Sita sings the blues" but I'm not seeing serious work done there
