@strypey whatever you need to step yourself, bub. lowering the risk of sickness and death for myself and others, sans ideology, seems a good enough reason for me
Dead serious #infosec career tip: learn to read NIST security publications. They're very clearly written and authoritative. "Can we use RSA-1028 here?" "Not according to NIS 800-57 Part 1." Like, that's an argument ender.
For another example: "How often do you rotate your passwords?" "Never unless compromised." "LOL, why?" "NIST 800-63B section 5.1.1.2 says not to." Go ahead, explain why NIST is wrong.
@blender I like the detail that they would have left Ellie the tree-hugger alone if she hadn't set her group free.

@izaya I think I understand. https://www.upguard.com/blog/docker-vs-lxc helped characterize the differences for me.
@izaya makes sense. LXC is better somehow? never used it
@izaya I'm curious what your opposition to this app being Dockerized is. general dislike for the Docker system or particular to this case? Is it that the bookwyrm docker image is packaging the DB but you want to use a different DB?
Asuka: Shinji, did you just 'git push --force'? Anta Baka!?

@izaya that's *why* I listen in the car. I always have something else in the house to distract from the music, but driving down the highway, I can pay attention to the lyrics and song structure better
@izaya cool. BSCI-1422 is the system described in "Setting: Star System"? The gas giant is described as "toasty" in the history, but "cold" in "Setting..." Are you going to give the planets names? I guess you could have a quirk of your story be that the characters never bother to name their planets. Would be kinda funny but none too practical 😆
are the character pages new? I hadn't noticed them before. Did you draw the images there? They're pretty good!
