初学者要自己去掌握很多游戏开发中的基础概念比如 3C(Character, Camera and Control) 才能磕磕碰碰的让它的第一个游戏动起来。

Someday I have to figure out how to make these all actually line up.

zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/148538635

Me: Yep. It belongs to the publisher & they make money from it.

I know I can overthink things, but I'm often astounded by how much people underthink things, assuming simplicity in things that are quite complex.

"Why don't you just..."

Just? Well, now, there's a powerful word for dismissing inconvenient details.

I could spend an hour or two explaining why something isn't that simple... but why bother, when nobody wants to hear that their simplistic vision is a fantasy (especially since it's usually a self-serving one).

... aah, yes.

KeepassXC is by far the best password manager. The pure fact that I can use it on desktop apps as well and create custom auto-typing rules is by far the feature that beats out everything else.

Bonus that I don't have to pay insane fees for storing a password on a cloud host.

I want to highlight something that could have been overlooked by many (like it happened to me for long time):

#vscode is not entirely free. Its packages and license are not free.

If you want a totally free vscode, you need vscodium. It's exactly the same codebase without vscode typical restrictions

I believe that the secret to being good at anything is to do it right once, and then to do that thing right once again, and again, until it becomes second nature to do it the right way.

The first challenge is to get it right once at all, which involves a different subset of skills, which I'll list: 1) Recognizing when you don't do something right, 2) Finding out specifically what you're not doing right, 3) Adjusting how you do it so that you do it right this time.
