I have met such amazing and wonderful people here on the Fediverse that I consider my true friends no matter where they live❤️

Musk’s takeover of Twitter is essentially a social media Brexit: much promised, nothing or just chaos delivered, no one happy, and those who opposed left trying to find their place in new and confusing world.

1. Most Black folk in the US experience frequent racism, and have to navigate racist systems daily. It's an important part of our lives.

2. Many white folk are very uncomfortable even hearing about racism.

3. People often talk about the most important things in their lives, with their friends.

4. Most white folk in the US (~75%), have no Black friends. Zero. None.

Here’s the good news: I think we have at least 6 months before your boss finds this place.

A reminder that we asked young people to turn out and they did. Latino voters leaned into Democrats. Black men voted overwhelmingly for Stacey. Abortion was top of mind for women. Black women continued to show up strong. The Party should not compromise on the priorities of those voters. They hold the future.
