@freemo
But jokes aside - what amuses me is suddenly I've noticed 3-4 different people saying this in different places - some unrelated discord servers, here now.

Also this is partially true. Some of our cuisine is country style (like mashed potatoes, pickled tomato or cucumber, sauerkraut and if you can afford - fried chicken or ground pork patty), other part of Russian food is borrowed - as always, we are really good taking what's not ours - French chefs had huge influence at some point.

But yes, comparing to Indian or Thai it's pretty bland

On side notice - these people don't have much but still very generous hosts, all they might have is said potatoes and sauerkraut for themselves yet they will find some preserves or kielbasa stashed for rainy day just to feed guests

Me, charging cyka-blyat™ railgun's battery: what do you mean no taste, komrad?

Well, this ended a bit better that I expected.
But this is a bit different way. I remembered that I have termux on my phone, installed git, emacs and then doom
Have no idea yet how to install all this in Emacs from f-droid

@devadideva

@devadideva @MokaMeu

Ok, now what?

I wonder if I can install doom.. doom emacs I mean, for a phone space/doom emacs bindings might be much better

:ablobthinking: i can just git checkout on main station and syncthing it

When I was a kid, I loved playing with my computer, and I had learned to program in BASIC (for those who don't know, that was the Python language of the 1980s and 1990s).

Anyway, I always go bad grades in math which I found very discouraging, and my parents didn't have time to help me with my homework so I was often stuck not knowing what to do.

I was 15 years old, my first year of high school, an older kid who I thought was cool invited me to math club. I was like, "no way, I suck at math." He said, "it doesn't matter how good you are, you can still hang out and have fun." That was the first time I realized math could be a social activity.

While I was there, I saw the sigma notation written on the chalk board. I said something like, "woah, that is like super advanced, no way I'll ever get to that level!" The teacher pointed out to me that all it meant was you wrote the part on the right "N" many times separated by the plus sign, each time replacing the letter "i" with an increasing number. "Wait, so that is a FOR loop in BASIC?" The teacher said "Yes, I suppose so."

Then I realized 2 more important things: 1. computers are math, so if you love computers, you automatically love math too, and 2. mathematical notation looks scary but that doesn't mean it is hard to understand.

On that day I realized I actually loved math and wanted to know everything about it no matter how complicated it seemed. I wish everyone in the wold could experience how liberating that felt.

That's OK, individuals have right to be wrong, there are still people from intellectual majority who denies Holocaust, moon landing, thinks that we are living on flat earth and much more

As a version, maybe KGB holds these two by the balls with death grip with novichock poison

If we all jump on something altogether this is no better than sjw morons ruining someone's life just because someone called said someone fascist or racist

OK, so I guess I know what I'm doing for next 3 weeks in

(SAB - Super Adventure Box - is upon us! Waited for way too long)

@LadyDragonfly

Yea, people are usually terrible at doing a thing their not doing, thats what happens when you dont do the thing :)

@LadyDragonfly lol, taking guns from lawful citizens and doing nothing with illegal arms - yeah, that's on @freemo in straight lying category

taking meds - very nice ad hominem attack (you definitely would know something about taking meds from first hand experience)
