For some reason I find lathe videos* extremely interesting now.. when I hated it in school. I admit, trade-skill teacher was boring man and couldn't transmit anything to young idiots
Always was sure that work piece supposed to be very balanced, but turns out you can put basically anything into machine and slowly chip away initial chunks until part becomes more or less balanced

OK, I take it back. Always was saying that my most favorite part of fedi is /local/ timeline on a server. Now I like much more /federated/ on different servers. And yes, I was sure that federated time line would be more or less the same, but turned out that they are very specific for each server
