Shippening weekend one wrapped up yesterday with 1,000 units shipped: 500 Watch boards and 500 temperature sensors, now securely at the Mouser warehouse in Mansfield, Texas. Shippening weekend two begins now. A box from Cyber City Circuits in Augusta is set to arrive tomorrow. In it: the 200 boards I need to finish out the Crowd Supply campaign. 200 sensor boards are already packed. Paperwork is filled out. Firmware is ready. Won’t be long now.

Massive thanks to @jasoncoon for making me this Macrochip of a microchip that’s very close to my heart! This is the Microchip (née Atmel) SAM L22 that sits at the heart of Sensor Watch. This engraved slate tile even captures the date code of the chips on the earliest blue Sensor Watch boards, the first products that I ever shipped. (Also as a bonus he also engraved this epic vector art of the Oddly Specific lazer bear shark!)

I'm hiring a new Privacy Engineer for The Washington Post. It's a full-stack position for an engineer with good communications and documentation skills, full time. Reach out via Keybase with questions.

And loses his soul in the process.

The holidays are an awkward time to get a new job; my onboarding got pushed back and it totally makes sense to do so.
Hopefully time to spend in the shop and working on the house.
Honestly this break has been good for me. Resting has been nice.
Today is a wonderful day to tell someone how much you appreciate them.
(Not me; I already got one today.)
Don't wait until it's too late.

So I'm finally watching the new Wednesday series on Netflix and it's fantastic.
I'd forgotten just how much I adore the character; dark, sarcastic, witty, and more than a little dangerous.

A little chilly out but I'm getting my steps in today:
What goal are you making progress on today? Let's celebrate our efforts.
It's been awhile since I reminded you that I love you.
I love you.
Please take care of yourself and each other; it's rough out there.
We're not alone; we have each other.
#MakeKindnessNormal
It's 10:25 AM Eastern and I'm glad you are alive.

☄️Asteroid impact predicted with stunning accuracy☄️
On Nov 18, the Catalina Sky Survey detected an asteroid on collision course with Earth.
Although the 1m rock was harmless, it triggered the test of an automated system designed to warn humanity of a more dangerous impact.
Within hours astronomers calculated that it would hit southern Ontario on Nov. 19 at 3:27 am EST.
At the predicted time, people across the region saw the bright trail as it blazed across the sky.
