Well, I'm doing it. Stepping back on the treadmill of content creation: I've resurrected the Patreon page. I'm learning a ton about SIP and phone systems as part of this new job; lots of exciting technologies to play with.
I get to configure a bunch of real and virtual end devices and behaviors in the lab today.
I found an absolutely delicious bug today.
2 days in and I've given some good suggestions and found a real head-scratcher for the Devs to mull over.
For many of us it's easy to lose track of what we've learned/accomplished because we're looking forward to what we don't know yet and feeling that ignorance we forget to acknowledge the knowledge we've picked up along the way.

Make sure everyone understands this — It’s costing us far too much to NOT provide housing and supports to those who are homeless.

First project of the new year!
The parts finally came in for a prototype touch-sensitive Kraken.
I'm using an @adafruit Feather M0 Express with SAMD21 and #FastLED to drive the #RGBLEDs.
Next I'll work on better touch animations, having the touch points trigger a pulse that travels down the touched tentacle then out the rest of them. 🦑🐙
It seems like it takes me a couple of tries to get a PCB laid out in an elegant solution.
Getting better with practice though.
Anyone else excited about the upcoming 7 release?
