A person, without risking their life, can compassionately donate $250,000 worth of nutritious food, to feed thousands of people, all of whom can obviously still be saved from death by starvation.

I don't have a Twitter account, but sometimes I will follow a link worth reading. This is one of them. Read this, keeping in mind that the CEO of #OceanGate publicly balked at safety regulations and that a director was fired in 2018 for voicing safety concerns. And the #Titan was never inspected.

I am pleased to that at least some quarters of mainstream media are calling out the double standards in search and rescue for white billionaires v refugees.

I am also appalled to read that Ocean Gate will not pay for the search and rescue/recovery operation.

"There have been over a thousand reports of sick and dead mammals washing ashore, between June 8 and June 14, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

"The cause for the deaths of these sea creatures has been identified as harmful #algae growing in large numbers along the Southern California coast.

"Scientists have said that the increased numbers of algal blooms across the world are due to #ClimateChange.

"As global water temperatures increase, so do these blooms, which can prove a hazard to marine life."
