I don't know about you, but X has always symbolized "failure" and "wrong answer" to me. Maybe it's from my days grading papers. Maybe it's game shows. Maybe it’s all those failed pirate adventures seeking buried treasure.
Regardless, the failing brand X seems entirely appropriate in this case.

Elon Musk Says Twitter Will Change Its Logo https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/23/business/elon-musk-twitter-logo.html
I am confused right now. Is it now twitter-rays and Malcolm #Twitter ? Can they be used synonymously instead of the original words/names? Just askin for my ex-lover... no, twitter-lover... arrrrgh. I'm lost.

The nerdy folks will refer to X as the abscissas-site.
If #Musk had any balls, he’d rename #Twitter to #TwiX — getting his “X” fetish on AND ursurping a beloved and instantly recognizable brand. Of course he’d then have then spend billions more in court, but given the courts treat him with kid gloves at every possible opportunity even when he commits federal crimes, he could just label the Mars execs “paedos” and the courts would fold, and fawningly award him the trademark.
G+ refugee and simply want my instance to work reliably.
