Holy crap, burning man sounds terrible enough under normal conditions.

"Some Burners were resorting to prayer, begging 'Playa gods, please stop, we want to go home.'"

Vatnajokull is Iceland's largest glacier and an absolutely #amazing place to visit!

During fall and #winter, you're able to explore blue ice caves in the glacier 🤩

Enter #Leo.
In the early years of the Trump administration, he and the Federalist Society had remarkable influence within the new government. The Federalist Society had brought the legal doctrines of originalism and textualism — close readings of laws and the Constitution to adhere to the intent and words of the authors — into the mainstream.
Leo had taken a leave of absence from the group to advise President Trump on judicial appointments, helping shepherd the appointments of Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court and helping to fill more than 200 other positions in federal district and appellate courts.
By the time Trump left office, he had put on the bench 28% of all federal judges in America.
In the town hall video, #Baehr explained how he modeled #Teneo on the Federalist Society.
Leo’s “secret sauce,” he said, was to identify an “inner core” group of people within the Federalist Society’s 60,000 members. Leo was “identifying them and recruiting them for either specific roles to serve as judges or to spin up and launch critical projects often which you would have no idea about.”

For the 38th year running, I have missed the annual Burning Man festival. Seems like a good year for it. https://www.sfgate.com/travel/article/no-access-after-burning-man-rain-storm-18344393.php

Here’s what will shock most people.

Atari currently sells 2600 cartridges. You can buy some on their website right now. Most of them are sold out, though, due to high demand.

Even when the 2600 console stopped being manufactured, there was a home brew scene that continued to make new 2600 cartridges.

In the 2000s, I knew a guy at Microsoft who bought Halo 2600 on a cartridge. And it was awesome.

I can't delete a note without accepting a prompt… Why is automating Apple stuff always a goddamn pain. Let me toggle a Switch that says "allow deleting note with no prompt". Some of us know what we are doing.

If burning man gets rained out, does it become smouldering man or ember man?

#DPRK military says its nuclear drill was intended to "make the U.S. and the military gangsters of the 'ROK' more clearly understand the situation that has reached a serious threat through the overpowering exercise of the war deterrence." http://kcna.kp/en/article/q/134a0eb1839cb01381c703e99144182185c42181f006790ee6b6b3695a42f636.kcmsf

A few days ago, I mentioned that my grandmother had passed away. She lived in the same house for over 65 years - 7 kids of her own, 25 grand kids, 16 great grand kids. No matter where any of us went, that house was home. And now it's just going to get sold. Feels like losing a third grandparent.

This white male thinks that this is some kind of clever gotcha.
