I feel like there's some massive cultural shift happening with regards to how comfortable we are as a society seeing state violence played out on children.

Like, there's a collision between the intense level of parasocial relationships we engage in and social media that's put us in a position where we feel like we're truly getting to know people in Gaza.. children in Gaza. And we're watching them be murdered by Israel.

I feel like we have a choice to make and this is the moment we either head away from or towards children being murdered by the state for entertainment à la The Hunger Games.
