Unsolicited advice: Don't think, just memorize the incorrect information. Turn off the learned part of your brain, the scholar who wants to answer with the correct information.

My poor, patient British partner listened to me rant through the "study" process and admitted to not knowing answers to MANY of the questions.

Once you've passed, you can bond with other new British about the appalling questions and "answers".
