The Associated Press projects that Joe Biden has won the #NewHampshire primary on the Democratic side. Since he was not on the ballot, voters had to write him in. By the time the unprocessed write-in votes are counted, he will have between 65% and 70% of the vote. Dean Phillips was 2nd at 20%. Marianne Williamson is closer to my views than either of these two, but it's obvious she had little grassroots support. She had 5%. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/01/23/us/elections/results-new-hampshire-democratic-primary.html

The researchers are now considering that transmissions are occurring between #mammals. Scientists had previously assumed that mammals were being infected from contact with #birds through fecal matter or their dead carcasses. But Campagna pointed out that pups mainly nurse from their mothers, and therefore would not be consuming infected birds.

Palestinian artist Amal Abu Al-Sabah, 26, paints murals on houses bombed by Israel.

She’s one of more than 1.9 million Palestinians forcibly displaced by Israel over the last 109 days. She's been displaced several times since Oct. 7 & she left all her artwork, “aspirations, and dreams” in her home. “My bedroom was filled with so much of my artwork, from paintings to colors and everything else.” Her message: “The Israeli aggression must cease once & for all." It’s working. In case you missed my post from earlier today or don’t read the Boston Globe, they finally pointed out the misuse of “anti-semitism” and are putting some pressure on Israel.

Keep doing what you can for our freedom. Israel cannot keep violating international law, forcing people from their homes, committing genocide. Americans demand that our government pull out. End the violence.

The software industry for decades has issued PSAs to consumers and enterprise customers to update all their software all the time lest they get hacked. Yet some software companies don’t update their components to pick up security fixes before they ship their products.

This seems like an opportunity for improvement.

I am sad that Frank Farian has died, but may his music live on forever.
