this little guy turns the 8-bit value into hex! it's also configurable: you can flip the digits upside down for when you plug it into the left side of your breadboard. it can also trigger and latch data on the rising or falling edge of the optional trigger pulse, it can be level or edge sensitive, and you can set it to "single shot" capture a single value.

Most of the people intent on banning certain books, don't even read books. 📚

Just because I’m on #Mastodon doesn’t mean I know squat about the #fediverse. If you’re like me, perhaps you’ll find this article useful.

My boss told me to attach two pieces of wood together... I totally nailed it!

#Costco tracked a purchase I had made, from their ready-foods department. They used cotija cheese that is in a nationwide recall. I had half of it last night for dinner. I feel fit as a fiddle, and obviously I’m going to return the rest for the refund and disposal. I’m very happy that in this respect, #Costco can track this way. I would hate to lose someone to bad food, just because nobody bothered to track who bought what. But they do. So we’re set. :)

Boy is #RepDanCrenshaw changing his tune on #AC360. He was 100% behind the Senate bill the other day bitching and moaning about people saying they weren’t gonna vote for it and today he’s done a 180. He’s spewing shit about #HR2 which is a never, ever in the Senate. it would take four months to get everything out of it that the Senate didn’t want and then it would end up being almost like #HR815 What a daunting task it is to flip flop all the time.

⚡️Aliyev wins presidential election in Azerbaijan, secures 5th term in office.

Astronomers still aren't entirely sure what causes fast radio bursts, which can briefly release a galaxy's worth of energy. However, they might have figured out how to use them to measure distances in the Universe. In a new paper, astronomers propose that fast radio bursts could be detected as they're magnified by stellar microlenses. With about 30 microlensing events, they should be able to measure cosmic distances precisely.

Which came first: Black holes or galaxies? | ScienceDaily

"Black holes not only existed at the dawn of time, they birthed new stars and supercharged galaxy formation, a new analysis of James Webb Space Telescope data suggests.

The insights upend theories of how black holes shape the cosmos, challenging classical understanding that they formed after the first stars and galaxies emerged.

Instead, black holes might have dramatically accelerated the birth of new stars during the first 50 million years of the universe, a fleeting period within its 13.8 billion -- year history." https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2024/02/240206144917.htm
