Any Peanuts special that features Snoopy—who is a BEAGLE.

(Marcel Duchamp calls this kind of thing a “readymade.”)

Since I live in a Red State that could turn on my on a dime, I know how to pass for a religious club member (let’s face it, deconstruction involves learning more than the average layman), and I respect anyone who still finds comfort in being in a religious club. I just won’t go to one of their meetings …

#OpenWeb #Mozilla #Firefox #BigTech: "Mozilla has decided to be more vocal about the ways in which Apple, Google, and Microsoft set technical requirements that have hindered development of its Firefox web browser, and therefore harmed competition.

Many of the competitive barriers have been discussed for years – in technical circles, and behind closed doors with regulators. During those years, Firefox's 30 percent of the global browser market share slipped steadily. Today, just over three percent of browser users favor Firefox – the impact of platform rules and of relentless marketing.

With renewed lobbying to level the browser playing field – and the pending March 6 compliance deadline for Europe's Digital Markets Act (DMA) approaching – Mozilla has decided to detail the issues and the harms it feels they cause."

The pinned series is a really good read

To understand Musk's authoritarian rage, examine his key delusion: He believes he's the savior of humanity & that our future depends on him. Therefore, he's the most important human in history and you must bow down.

At some point during the Super Bowl, there was a Doordash ad containing an extremely long promo code and it had to be entered correctly on a website. The total cost of all the prizes that the winner gets equates to $480000 in prizes. There's a whole list of what items are included, but there's a lot of food (for example 1000 Popeyes chicken wings), lots of Mountain Dew Baja Blast, at least 4 vehicles, etc. And I surely hope that whoever wins this thing is going to use it to help people who may be struggling. I know there's nothing I can do about it with regards to what people do when they win it but I sincerely hope that people will use it to help people who could use some of this stuff. Sure, chicken wings may not be the most healthy thing in the world, but man, having chicken wings to be able to provide to somebody, that could really help them at least have something to eat. Because sometimes it doesn't matter what it is. I just really hope that whoever gets this will be responsible with it and use it to help somebody in a tough situation.
