This entire sequence is damaging for Willis and her office. She had hoped to stave off the entire proceeding, and then to quash subpoenas for her and Wade. So far she's 0 for 2 and Wade is being pressed for details about his truthfulness about his relationship with Willis.

I thought this interview would be hostile and that CBS would attack the Harvard doc, but no. This is good.

People complain about #SovereignCitizens, but you know what, they bother me a lot less than state level #secessionists. Sovereign citizens have issues with logistics and universalizability, but at the end of the day they just want to be left alone, and they're going it alone when they do that, so I can respect it.

People who talk about state level secession are talking about dragging everyone else around them through the logistical nightmare, one which they fail to even seem to recognize, of decoupling from a massive country without devolving into a third world country, especially since a lot of these states are heavily reliant on the federal government.

That's even before the fact that the last time people got those states to secede they murdered a bunch of people, set up dictatorships, and started a crazy war.

At least a #SovereignCitizen's decisions don't reach far beyond themselves.

Update on the Jan. 6 pipe bomb found at the DNC headquarters: as the bomb squad approached the area to deal with the bomb, there were two Capitol Police Video Cameras that were capable of recording the event.

Camera 3173 was remotely directed away from the scene at 1:29 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2021, before the bomb squad arrived.

The Capitol Police Command Center redirected camera 8020 away from the action at 1:44 p.m., just as a bomb robot begins traveling toward the DNC.

More on the Jan. 6 pipe bomb at the DNC headquarters: None of the Capitol Police security cameras that cover the DNC show the Secret Service conducting a security sweep of the property just before 11:25 a.m., in preparation for a visit by VP-elect Harris. A dog & its handler were seen on video 2 hours earlier searching the same area in which the bomb was later found.

Capitol Police video also doesn’t show the discovery of the DNC pipe bomb by an undercover police officer at 1:05 p.m. that day.
