The facts:
According to a June 2023 report from the Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights (OHCHR):

1. The OHCHR documented 864 individual cases of arbitrary detention by the russian Federation, many of which also amounted to enforced disappearances. (Actual numbers are considerably higher)

My first attempt at saving seeds! I'm starting easy with lettuce - these are from my favorite variety that we planted this year, it's called "freckles". It's hardy and productive and really pretty too!

Any tips on the fuzzies etc? Do I just plant it all or are there some easy ways to remove the extra bits? #gardening

We live about 20 minutes from there. I knew there was a heavy thunderstorm a few hours ago, but I didn't even look outside — certainly not for flooding like this. (We did have our basement flooded about 16 years ago. They said it was a one-in-a-hundred-year kind of thing.)

In tonight's storm, though, I was considering shutting down my PC, as there was nearby lightning.
