Hi I just got refused entry to the main library room at the #NYPL Schwarzman Building because they “are not open for visitors” and people have to have a laptop or books already on them????

They didn’t listen that I have an NYPL library card and I wanted to go look at the books in their collection and read them…. Which their website says I should be allowed to do without an appointment….

People will recoil in horror one day soon from every single person who supported a genocide. They deserved to be shunned for the rest of their natural lives.

Some will understand this. Cat callers. Most are annoying but harmless asses who don't expect a response. A smaller number are asses who really need to feel they are being acknowledged and if you don't, will scream after you that you're a lesbian or whatever justifies you not being enamoured by their words of endearment. But there is a smaller number who are scary as hell. If you acknowledge just to bypass the 2s and 1s aren't a big deal, they treat the acknowledgment as a sign of declared love
