Biden protected lands surrounding the Grand Canyon; uranium mining is happening there anyway https://www.tucsonsentinel.com/local/report/012324_grand_canyon_mining/biden-protected-lands-surrounding-grand-canyon-uranium-mining-happening-there-anyway/
While the designation of the canyons, cliffs, and plateaus surrounding the Grand Canyon National Park as part of a new national monument prevented hundreds of mining claims, two uranium mines were grandfathered in - and now a Colorado-based company is cashing in.

I have never met a gay man who told me, "You're not allowed to listen to YMCA because that's our song."

I have met plenty of straight men who've said to me, "Why are you listening to YMCA? That song is gay."

I've heard two people complaining about Firefox either slowing their system down to a crawl or doing weird things to their CPU and I'm wondering if this is related to the reports I'm seeing about Google cranking up your CPU usage if you use an ad block on YouTube?

Plant propagation through cuttings continues to be wild to me. You can break a plant, and if you take a little care of the pieces, you've now got many!

Had planted this cutting, maybe 6 inches tall then, last January. Today it is about 12 feet tall.

Moved other cuttings to various spots in the garden, left one in place right outside my door.
