Food allergies in China:

Mind you this is any allergy, not life threatening allergy.

Look at that 0.34%. That because kid who has problems with peanuts gets his face rubbed in peanut butter by Laolao and slapped until he is over it.

Allergy is cultivated by avoidance.

Apple isn't "sharing" whether its own iCloud and App Store properties support logins using passkeys. This is just another example of the company's culture of Howard Hughesesque paranoia and lack of transparency that needlessly inconveniences its customers.

I have been unable to get passkeys to work on either. Does anybody know definitively what the status is?

I only use .com for my personal domains because the District of Columbia Organic Act of 1871 turned people into corporations.

Germany's eROSITA X-ray instrument released a new all-sky survey, revealing the location of about 900,000 individual soft X-ray sources. Unfortunately, eROSITA is an experiment flying on the Russian Spectrum-RG satellite, so controllers decided to shut down the experiment when Russia invited Ukraine. In just six months, the instrument detected more X-ray sources than had been discovered in all astronomy, including black holes, stars, galaxies, and exotic objects.

#Dunvegan woods are full of colour and pattern in the #winter. They are also very atmospheric and an absolute pleasure to walk through. I rarely meet another soul there; even in the high tourist season. I have taken #photographs there at every season. I have no particular favourite. It’s the quality of the light and the place that makes it special anytime.

As California begins to dry out from its latest atmospheric river event, residents are preparing for a likely much stronger storm beginning Sunday, lasting into Wednesday. https://t.co/5iUA4yQHyV

Something interesting that came up several times today in the Zoom for Palestine was that #India’s government is closely watching what happens in #Palestine so they may start developing the same sort of settlements in #Kashmir, and activists speaking out in India for #Gaza are being severely punished.

Permission for genocide will spread quickly and we have our own governments to blame.

It’s either a little early for caturday, or really late. Ha

#NASA to 'wiggle' broken #Ingenuity #Mars #helicopter's blades to analyze damage.
Mission managers revealed all four of Ingenuity's blades were damaged during a rough landing on Red Planet.
The helicopter was initially designed to make just five flights — its mission ended after number 72. The fact that Ingenuity was able to fly in the thin Martian atmosphere and carry out as many sorties as it did is true testament to JPL's expertise and could foreshadow future missions. https://www.space.com/nasa-mars-helicopter-ingenuity-tribute
