Just got a paper accepted for publication in #IEEE, woohoo! 15 pages, above 10 pages, you must pay 220 USD per page (journal policy, I knew it). Therefore, I (=my funding agency) just paid 1100 USD (VAT excluded) for a single paper! Well, for that price, the paper could at least be open access. Sigh. I still don't know what justifies such a price. Anyway, this work is on arXiv.
