Apparently, mammals have a tendency to go extinct rather easily and there's every indication that humans are likely to go extinct as well.

The signs are already there.

As far as I'm concerned, sooner is better than later. The notion of a planet relieved of our existence gives me hope for Earth's future.

My spouse and I have been married for 20 years. We do not observe Hallmark holidays like #ValentinesDay, #wedding anniversaries, etc.
Early on in our marriage, we realized that if we just show and celebrate our love every day, these holidays are meaningless, and expensive.
It's made marriage just that much easier.
