The Conversation is a nonprofit news website dedicated to democratizing knowledge. All of their articles are written by academics and researchers. Every article is completely free. The entire website is really awesome!

Things do not seem to be going well on the bird site.

@ahiatt Also, use a password manager. Bitwarden solid, free, slightly less polished than paid Lastpass, 1Password. The latter two can also do 2FA for you. Otherwise, Authy is a good 2FA app. Don’t use Google Authenticator as you can’t back up the accounts.

If you want something to look forward to, Mastodon 4.0 will be released on Monday so soon enough you'll be able to translate posts and follow hashtags!

New data about the growth of the #fediverse. The number of new accounts is now on average around 100k per day after the peak in November 8th of 135k new users.
