Here's some New Years perspective to start your 2023.

Barbara Walters, Anne Frank, & Martin Luther King, Jr. were all born in 1929. Yet while we were just with Ms. Walters days ago, those two icons are portrayed as ancient history.

But the ideals they fought for weren't in some distant past—they're a contemporary reality we must continue to fight for today. We control that narrative. Let’s keep fighting for that justice in 2023 & beyond.

Remember, "The past is never dead. It's not even past.”

If you can't figure out how to write an article against an organization that has become as shitty as #AIPAC has without talking about how secret #Jewish money trains our politicians to not put #AmericaFirst, then you never gave a shit about the influence of #DarkMoney.

Just grab your tiki torch and go march with your friends about how #Jews won't replace you.

If this year taught us anything, it's that:

1) Workers keep America going, not billionaires.
2) Corporate profits don't trickle down to workers.
3) Poverty is a policy choice.
4) Health care is a human right.
5) Strikes work.

I hope we act on these lessons in the new year.

I'm beginning to think a lot of people on Twitter who THINK they're fighting for progressive causes are really more interested in griping at alt-right trolls. Every time I visit Twitter, Kevin Sorbo, Andrew Tate, Kyle Rittenhouse or Trump is trending for something they posted. WHO CARES? All the attention they get from the left is precisely what they crave (and it only helps Musk's Twitter succeed.) Twitter is a place for people addicted to outrage. I like Mastodon better.

GOOD IDEA: This may look like a transit map, but it’s actually a map of typical walking times & distances in the walkable, car-free Spanish city of #Pontevedra. A simple, clever idea that every city working to be more walkable should steal.
