#Introduction: I’m a SW engineer at #Microsoft since interning back in ’98. Currently Engineering Director working on #VisualStudio.

I have a rotation of hobbies (#guitar, #woodworking, #programming) I get into pretty obsessively. I love the process of getting good at something even though I haven't come close to pulling it off. Also dabble with digital art, recording music, and 3d-printing.

Hello! I'm a PhD candidate in Neurobiology and Behavior (#Neuroscience) at the University of California Irvine. I'm using #rsfMRI and #PET imaging to study the progression of #Alzheimer's disease pathology and clinical impairment in people with #DownSyndrome. I'm planning to defend my dissertation in summer 2023, and I've been looking for jobs related to #ScienceCommunication and/or #SciencePolicy to pursue after graduation.

I just received the kindest and most uplifting email from a colleague today. This career includes so much criticism and competition, it's so lovely when someone takes a moment to be supportive. I am deeply appreciative, and I need to do more of that myself for my colleagues.

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Sensorimotor Research (LSR), at the National Institutes of Health, working with Dr. Hendrikje Nienborg. I study the neural and computational mechanisms underlying perceptual decisions. I did my PhD with Prof. Tobias Donner in Hamburg, on choice-induced biases in perceptual decision-making. I employ methods like psychophysics, computational modeling, Neuroimaging (fMRI, MEG), & Neurophysiology with NHPs. #neuroscience #neurodon
