I actually took this a few years ago from a park near my home, but I'm sure if I walked up there today it would be a very similar scene! The snow is really piling up out there right now.☃️

'Guinea Pig with Wild Hair' is a pet portrait artwork that I did in soft pastels earlier in 2022. This is the first and only guinea pig I've done so far, although I have drawn hamsters before. I was intrigued by the interesting curves in this critter's long, luxuiant fur.

I chose my image, Surrounded by Love to be my first post as it shows the affection in a wild horse familial band. The mare (a grullo) and her two sons from consecutive years were from the Palomino Buttes Herd in Oregon. Their band was an especially tight and loving familial band at the time. It is beautiful to see the dynamics between the horses when they are allowed to live in a natural habitat and in familial or bachelor bands. #wildhorses #mustangs

Every client I have has someone who suddenly has COVID. It's now affecting my work as a work-from-home freelancer.

One editor's got it, a project head for another company has it, and so on.

The CDC is recommending mask-wearing for a reason.

I suggest you heed the advice. Thanksgiving has spread things like a bomb, stateside. #COVID #mask

Bought new for my . Rinsed them well and was assured by the sellers the plants were grown in a free environment.

And now this. So far just the one.

….So cute!!!

I already have an adult . This is a small freshwater aquarium with a single beta fish so I hope there is enough algae to support the baby. I already add the occasional algae disk. I’ll have to watch closely to make sure we don’t need more.

Day 12 of #ArtAdventCalendar falls on #Mondog, so how could I NOT post one of my favorite pooches of all time??

This is my daycare buddy, Beau. I took care of him for almost 10 years and we had so many adventures together! He passed in 2020 and boy do I miss him, but his memory lives on the hundreds of photos I took of him. ❤️

Here he is doing his best impression of Superman. I think he nailed it. 😄
