Dying here. I watched the rental get returned this morning, and now it’s back out and probably at an AirBnB. Long shot here: do I know anybody with an iPhone willing to drive to near…

And spot a silver Ford Bronco Sport? I would ask you to put a note with my phone # under the wiper.

Boosts welcome, but even more welcome would be sending this directly to somebody you know in/near Aurora who would be willing to take on this weird little adventure.

Does anyone know a ham radio operator or scanner enthusiast who’s planning to attend a NASCAR event soon? I’d like to get an I/Q recording of some spectrum from the event.

Please boost if you know hams, or racing fans, or better yet: both. Then DM me if you fit these characteristics.

This is the first surviving photograph of the Moon. John Adams Whipple, born on this day in 1822, took it through Harvard's Great Refractor in 1852, blazing the dawn of astrophotography and revolutionizing our orientation to the ephemeral and the eternal: t.co/rv5GqwOXkB t.co/WRzh3g0gkL

It’s now clear that Leonard Leo, Ginni Thomas and Harlan Crow conspired in the wake of Citizens United, where Justice Clarence Thomas cast a decisive vote, to unleash over a billion dollars to reshape the judiciary in the mold of the Federalist Society.

The result is now an extreme right-wing Supreme Court that has overturned abortion rights, environmental law, and affirmative action. And they are far from done.

What are the top DAY JOBS of Russian cybercriminals? Okay, this is unscientific for sure, but having spent ridiculous amounts of time tracking down so many cybercriminals who also turn out to be Russian, here's what I see over and over (not necessarily in any order):

1) Web designer
2) Web hoster
3) Nature tour company operator
4) Computer hardware sales
5) Disk jockey/deejay (weirdly common)
6) Physical security services/goods
7) Programmer
8) Photographer/Videographer
9) Travel consultant
10) Real estate broker

Most of these professions offer opportunities for a mobile and less regimented lifestyle, as well as a lot of wiggle room for how much taxable "income" they make.

A top advisor to Zelensky states that Elon Musk's decision to assist Russia by disabling Starlink for the Ukrainians led to the deaths of civilians, including children.

Elon Musk secretly used control of his Starlink network to cripple a Ukrainian military operation while it was under way, in defiance of American foreign policy.

He is an oligarch working against U.S. interests, benefitting his fellow oligarchs in Russia. His biographer seems to think this is just Musk being Musk, quirky and idiosyncratic.

This shocking #photography was obtained from #Montana (#USA) over 17 minutes. It reveals the crazy number of #satellites orbiting the #Earth. Most of them are #StarLink (from #SpaceX / #Musk) and aim at providing internet to some remote places.

StarLink is not the only project for space-based #internet: there are also #Kuiper (#Amazon), #oneWeb, #Iris2 (@EU_Commission), etc... which will send even more satellites into #space
