Note: What no one besides me cares about (I won't shut up about it), Powell's 2020 conspiracy started earlier, w an effort to use Mike Flynn case to set up a 1st debate attack on Joe Biden.

Docs were altered--IN DOJ--to make that happen.

So if Powell ever got cooperative at Federal level, the story might incl:

DOJ altering documents to help Trump's campaign
The pardon of Mike Flynn that pardoned even Flynn's crimes in reneging his original plea
THEN all the Big Lie stuff

Just did a 3,800-mile road trip from Florida to Colorado and back in a Tesla Model 3 RWD Long Range. I recorded video to share data and some of the sights along the way, and here's how the first leg went.

I know I don’t have much reach here, but figured I’d try anyway.

I’m looking for someone to help with payroll data entry, Accounts Payable, and light HR work for a rapidly expanding hospitality company.

Fully remote. $20-25/hour.

if anyone knows anyone interested, please let me know.

We're looking for sponsorship for the first ever PyLadies Conference! Sponsorship. I know event sponsorship has been challenging this year. Still, if anyone has any leads on organizations or companies that want to support PyLadies and the diverse Python community, please get in touch!

ME: Back in the day, I had to implement isalpha from ctype.h.
JR: Was it difficult?
ME: It was a real test of character.

Lazywebs question time!

Does anyone know of a good #book
about #cryptography in history? Preferably wide-ranging enough to cover various ciphers and their use, without getting into the mathematical weeds of modern cryptographic algorithms.

Target audience isn't into serious cryptography, but can and will crack a substitution cipher or similar puzzle for fun.

#bookstodon or #infosec perspectives very appreciated.

recorded a Windows 95 full disk defrag to soothe your timeline.

Who amongst ye is good at creating graphic content, such as a little video of species introgression, and wants to volunteer for #wolves via WWP?

What do you hope to hear at a talk about mental health in the developer community? What would you want to hear from me?

On paper, in theory, #ElectricCar repairs should be far less than they would be for an internal combustion engine vehicle, as there are far fewer moving parts.

In reality though, that's not always the case. Here's who is gatekeeping EV repairs, and keeping them high.

PSA: we have seen the vague viral reports alleging a Signal 0-day vulnerability.

After responsible investigation *we have no evidence that suggests this vulnerability is real* nor has any additional info been shared via our official reporting channels.

lol 😂 they are getting lazy 😒

There’s something quite delicious and funny watching Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders try to respond to a GOP-led audit of her alleged false records, including a $19K lectern, and failure to respond to FOIA requests, by blaming “left wing activists” for the controversy.

Keep flailing, Governor. It’s your own party’s audit panel investigating your office.

This interview with computing pioneer Barbara Liskov is interesting as her work is little known aside from the Liskov substitution principle and the Clu OOP language:

Not in the headline, but we also talk about Kyle receiving a 240 kW DC fast charger and his plans for it, as well as the 3,800-mile road trip I just finished (with lots of nerdy data). Enjoy! #roadtrip #EVcharging #nerdystuff https://youtu.be/HdbQIbqVtSE

I didn't invade & colonise Australia 230 years ago. I didn't kill Indigenous landowners who had lived on & cared for these lands for at least 65,000 years. But when I #VoteYes, I will be part of *today's* Australia. One that wants to listen & repair harm & recognise what's true.
