If you're ever on an airplane, go to the map feature in your in-flight entertainment, and look up the town of Nadi, in Fiji.

Because its airport code is NAN, and because everyone in my profession is somehow really bad at their jobs, the map might think the airport is "Not A Number", at which point you can expose all sorts of fun bugs.

In my case, whatever city you had looked up previously would be shown, but still labelled "Nadi".

Our old one broke (again!) and while I fixed it myself last time, I wasn’t willing to deal with a dishwasher that keeps breaking.

Could we maybe stop shaming people for reading kids’ books? Adult books are full of sad people having affairs while kids’ books have magic wardrobes and worms driving around in apples; you tell me who’s winning.

German news website @heiseonline has been very active on the #fediverse, now the second largest news account. Editor @mho has extensively documented the process.
