If you are a white leftist and you talk “both parties are the same they are both capitalist” you will loose most of your black audience. I think it ought to be obvious that this isn’t because blackfolks love Democrats (in most cases, there is always someone being simple in any group) —no. it’s because the difference between the parties is material and obvious and these are unstable times.

Doug Ford is cutting back OHIP-covered eye services for #Ontario seniors. Currently, those over age 65 are allowed a free eye exam every 12 months, this will reduced to a free exam every 18 months.

Anyone who lived through the Ford mayorality shouldn't be surprised by the Ontario Place and Science Centre plans. This is his Portlands plan all over again, minus the Ferris Wheel.

These places aren't anything but tourist attractions to Ford, and he doesn't understand attractions other than luxury spas, gambling, and "the world's biggest whatever" anymore than he understands laptops or modern phones.

It also doesn't hurt that it destroys Bill Davis's legacy, 'cuz Davis liked Wynne.
