We're soft launching Fedible today, a full service agency created to help organizations onboard and maintain a presence in the fediverse. For more information about how we can help your organization please visit our web site at: https://fedible.io

In addition to trying to be the best onboarding onramp to #mastodon and the #fediverse we could build, we also want this to be a place to organize: to help #TakeBackSocial and to help all the #TwitterMigration #RedditMigration and what migrations will come.

New projects to do that will be here: https://spreadmastodon.org/share-mastodon

#Pixelfed is a #PHP application, and @dansup says it would be nice to have more maintainers on board.

#Mastodon isn’t perfect but the two complaints I read about it this morning (on #BlueSky of all places) have me just… boggled.

1) “mastodan is like bluesky but if you needed to open an Excel sheet every time you wanted to post”
…What are you even TALKING about?

(I realize there are complicated parts of Mastodon, fine, but posting? That’s the easy part!)

2) Masto users are overly sensitive.
*slow blink*
We need more sensitivity in this world, not less.

Exactly!

The free speech absolutist strikes again.

Despite all the complaining, I actually like #Mastodon so far. A lot. Finally a social network with a sizable user base AND it's free software.

I clearly prefer it 1000 times over all the #proprietary BS that has been all over the web for a while. And people just use it to talk. Cool stuff.

Maybe Mastodon is actually a much bigger boost for the #FreeSoftware movement than we actually realize by now.

Many people have been talking about deleting their #Reddit account and posts because they hate what the Reddit CEO does.

While I welcome a major #RedditExodus (I never posted on Reddit because it's #proprietary), I urge people to #backup their high-quality posts (those that have helped a large number of people) before they delete their account for good.

And then repost your high-quality stuff somewhere else for archival purposes.

Just a suggestion.

It is confirmed that Reddit is forcing subreddits to open again. This is according to /r/antiwork moderators.

President Carter, now in his last days, home to be with his family as he passes, once personally saved Ottawa from a Nuclear Disaster, at risk, and cost, to his life, suffering from radiation poisoning all his life.

Canada had a Nuclear Accident in the 50s, asked the US for help, Lieutenant Jimmy Carter lead a team out of NY.

The future President Carter, had his team lower him into the reactor.

I had no idea

I have no idea why this isn't widely known.

"We're 18 years old," Huffman said. "I think it's time we grow up and behave like an adult company."

Says the guy who's behaving like a petulant 5-year old.

Well, at least Reddit has admitted their "we're not trying to be like Twitter/Elon" stuff was false
