Wine - enables Linux users to play e.g. games made only for MS Windows.

Wine 8.0 was released a few days back & indeed Wine 8.1 is already out now!

Wine 8.1 ups the default setting to "Windows 10" now (as new Wine prefixes are created).

Previously Wine defaulted on "Windows 7" (which is of course still there to choose) - the gaming itself happens 100% on Linux nevertheless

Valve (/w its Proton tech on Steam) highly utilize Wine to make more and more people say "BYE BYE, WINDOWS" 👋

@stopgopfox My experience as a Minister is that the conservative right wing Evangelical leadership really is this cynical. They are interested in power and money, and Christian is a brand that sells. God doesn’t enter into it.

Followers are a different story. They’re drawn in as they are deeply self righteous and want a power structure that validates their racist, white supremacist, xenophobic, homophobic and misogynistic beliefs. Leadership says God is hateful: they eat it up.
