It's worth pondering why every call for civility is issued for the benefit of those who have dedicated their lives to incivility. It's worth pondering why every call for healing centers on those who have done the harming.
It’s worth pondering why the people who cry the loudest about our divisiveness and political incivility never direct their laments at the people who joyfully elect an endless string of stupid, corrupt, and mean racist bullies.
The floor of the U.S. House isn't a comedy club, and presidential addresses aren't wrestling matches. Federal policymakers in the world’s preeminent superpower are supposed to have some class.

In my opinion #Snopes has no credibility left, and if you cite them as proof of anything, then you don't either. I knew of one case whe they put up an article saying the the performer of a particular work had plagarized his material, when in fact he'd asked for and received permission from the original author to do the performance. A false charge of #plagarism is so ironic given what this ariticle reveals about Snopes!

What is it with all of these young right wing assholes and being failed creative types? James O'Keefe failed to make it to Broadway so he just makes up shit and creates fake controversies for a living. Ben Shapiro failed to become a Hollywood screenwriter, then tried to become a novelist and that didn't work out either, and then tried to become a film producer and goose egg'd that too. And Steven Crowder is a failed child actor.
I'm staring at a tweet that contains the words James O'Keefe and "musical theater dreams" in the same sentence.

TwitterDev finally announced some more details.
1. Delay new rules for 4 days.
2. Free "bot" level of up to 1,500 Tweets/month for a single authenticated user (probably no read access).
3. $100/month "low level of API usage" tier.
4. Premium API (the expensive one that had prices listed) goes away in favor of Enterprise (the even more expensive one with no prices listed).
Before anyone asks, this does not mean 3rd party clients are coming back, if anything its the exact opposite.

he vastly, vastly overestimates the amount of blood he can squeeze from the stone that is twitter and he'll end up killing it trying to get the last drop, like lmao why the HELL would you fuck with the ability to SOCIALIZE on a SOCIAL NETWORK, then have the audacity to charge for it???
they're gonna do all this bullshit tweaking and pissing off everyone by limiting follows or whatever then check the balance sheet at the end of the month and see only 0.01% of users forked over cash
Since he overpaid so much he needs to pay off the loans he took out for his purchase but twitter is not profitable as a company so the only thing he knows to do is to monetize every possible aspect. The result is that the platform is a goner and it is going to ruin a lot of people's livelihoods
