Political coverage is so bad these days that everyone's a critic. Too bad the editors aren't listening. https://presswatchers.org/2023/02/press-criticism-is-everywhere-but-the-industry-isnt-listening/

Mac users with custom setups: does macOS freak out every, say 3rd or 4th reboot, with every third-party app’s permissions needing to be reset? Accessibility, disk/file permissions, network access, etc.? The prompts overlap (dialog boxes stack on top of each other); most require System Settings changes. It’s a major fustercluck. Rebooting usually fixes it (and is simpler than dealing with each app), but sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries. Happened under macOS 12; still under 13.2.1. #apple #macOS

@Jerry That is how any woman with a lick of common sense should react to being given already dead flowers as a gift! But the florists have done a wonderful job of marketing the idea that one simply must send flowers on special occasions.
Funny thing is, from the time I was old enough to know what a florist was, I always kind of thought they were the scum of the earth because they essentially made money off of people's tragedies and sense of obligation. Of course I would not have phrased it that way back then, I just knew that I didn't think much of them. Maybe it was some baggage from a previous lifetime, who knows? But at probably 4 or 5 years old I just knew I didn't like florists!

@litui I think I figured what's wrong with #Microsoft's #Bing / #OpenAI #ChatGPT : every new conversation is a completely new instance of Bing, separated from the others. This explains why, when confronted with other users' previous conversations it tends to deny them. For that instance in particular, effectively that story is a lie.
We as users think of Bing as one search engine. But apparently, every new conversation is a completely new, user-tailored Bing instance.
