Murder, She Wrote ran for 264 episodes, which means that lady who wrote about murder saw at least 264 murders over the course of TWELVE years, and you have to think, man, that's worse than most homicide cops see in the most fractured forsaken neighborhoods of the oldest cities, and I kind of want there to be a scene somewhere in a vault of Angela Lansbury, ravaged by PTSD and propped on a bar stacked with empties, inveighing against the cosmic worth of her species and slurring bitter regrets at a life's work of effectively being a janitor in an abattoir.

That's fine, and sends a democratic signal, but it also suggests that said leadership should be stepping down.

Occasionally my parents might slip into it, but they're in their 80s.

Ah! Baking, of course.

@sixfootcandy Occasionally my tech support for parents involves Thanksgiving dinner...

LADY: My cat won't stop mewling

ME: It's okay, I'm a cat whisperer

LADY: Oh, great

Did anyone ever tell those kids how to get to Sesame Street?

Corporate profits only accounted for roughly 11% of price growth from 1979 to 2019.

Today, record corporate profits account for 53.9% of price increases.

Folks, corporate greed is driving inflation, not workers asking for better wages.
