Imagine having to attend new employee orientation before the hiring committee has let you know whether they liked you.

"He is a Billionnaire. He's Italian. You're a truck driver. You're Swiss. Why do you think he cares about you? Why do you think he is on your side?" It was utterly shocking for him to hear this. A man that has been treated badly by everyone hears that the only notable person that pretends to care about him, can't possibly care about him either? He wasn't able to process it.

Berlusconi, Putin, Trump, they all pretend to be simple people. Why does a regular guy believe that the billionaire is on his side? Why don't they see it? As someone told me on Twitter, yesterday, regular people get treated so badly that if, for once, someone is on their side, they fall for it no matter how phony it may look from a distance.

50 years ago today, Count von Count made his first appearance on Sesame Street. The Vampire Muppet, who never seems to bite anyone and can be out in the sun, is obsessed with numbers and counting.
More than just a play on words, Vampire lore from several cultures includes compulsive counting and organization as a trait in such creatures- it's said you can escape one by scattering grain, which they'd then have to stop and count.

The signal went about 4 miles to the UT Austin Amateur Radio Club's antenna on top of Physics building (KA5D) where their iGate send it to 4X5MG whose bot posted it.
