But Garland’s refusal to speak out about the report afterward is not “independence” or “neutrality”, it is a tacit endorsement of the report.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot speak up about his actions or non-actions of the person serving as Attorney General.

Garland’s is an appointed member of the Cabinet and he owes the country answers.

I am sitting here minding my own business when Zara (my cat) decides that my chest is the best height for me to hold and pet her.

I comply and after a moment and looks at me, bonks my forehead with her forehead and climbs down to knead her favorite blanket. I began to lazily pet her while she is purring and relaxing. My leg is next to her and providing warmth...

APPARENTLY she has had enough of me. She looked up at me with blanket in mouth, stood up, turned around so her body is away from me and sat down to continue her kneeding. My couch and blankets are necessary...but I am clearly optional equipment.
