2 days left on this poll, and out of the millions of people on Mastodon, only 19 people cared enough to respond to it.

I’m thinking I should have just made a poll about cats. It would have gotten more traction.

Ironically, our elections are fought on guns and abortion.
The entire republican platform is based on these two agendas.

Lobbyists from the gun and pro-life orgs funnel hundreds of millions of dollars into the republican party coffers.

Several of the losers who support unrestricted sales of assault rifles, are sitting on key committees in our congress.

The USSC continues to take away women’s rights, over pro-life lies about abortion, and the propaganda they spread.

Assault rifles are killing our kids, and the hypocrites who say all life is precious, support these guns, and the death penalty.

If the truth doesn’t matter, we might as well just give up.

Poll, or no poll, I’m not giving up.

Good Morning to the brave defenders of Ukraine. Slava Ukraini

Good morning also to the brave revolutionaries of Iran. May you win freedom soon.

@MeidasTouch @marcelias It's being reported all over AZ that former #attorneygeneral Mark #brnovich didn't release a report that debunked election fraud claims.

So a really fun thing about being a middle aged woman physician is that on any given day I can be asked (1) if I have grandchildren yet, (2) if I’m pregnant, and (3) if I’m old enough to be a doctor

(Too young, too old, and yes definitely!)

Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) introduced a bill (cosponsored by Boebert & Santos) making the AR-15 the “National Gun of America.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has a bill to award killer Kyle Rittenhouse with the Congressional Gold Medal.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) says Ukraine is not our friend and Russia is not our enemy.

The GOP is far, far too extreme to govern.

#AtomicHeart is a no-buy for me since this game is said to be Russian propaganda with Kremlin involvement.

It is telling that the developer, #Mundfish, hasn't denied it despite being asked directly.

#Russia is in the middle of an unprovoked invasion of #Ukraine and the #genocide of the #Ukrainian people. It is also guilty of #HumanRights violations against #LGBT people.

The composer of Atomic Heart, Mick Gordon, was caught off-guard, though. He's donating his fee to the Red Cross Ukraine fund

How the 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 am I just learning about the #vatnik #propaganda bullshit that is #atomicheart

Non- #CIS / #Russian publishers pushing this shit should really think long and hard about this crap.

All my new home carers so far have been Black women from Zimbabwe (the majority of the staff at this particular agency, I gather.)

I love it.

I can talk about my legs being ashy & body lotion feeling like a luxury.

I can talk about why my natural hair is surprisingly soft (Indian & Chinese great-grandparents!)

I can tell them why exactly it’s such a relief to be able to shower every day after growing up in a culture that normally showers *twice* a day (Trinidad is hot!)

And they get it.

Are you in the mood for some fresh fruit?
