Yesterday somebody defended the way patients are not treated for pain anymore in the US, not even post-surgical or multiple broken bone pain.

They repeatedly defended the pseudoscientific pain scale.

They kept on defending that the abuses suffered by patients is for their own benefit because they're all possible addicts.

Then got mad and told me I needed to "read better" because I told them to have empathy for patients.

We need better medical professionals in my country.

Defederation, by its nature, is one-way; shitty people can still see your posts if they get boosted across.

Makes me chuckle to think about all those posts directing misspelled hatred at people who will never ever see them, because these people don’t know they’re blocked.

So much energy that could be used for something useful, like throwing themselves into the sea.

I was on a Zoom call with some friends and Steve used the 😂 reaction and he wasn’t even smiling. Fucking Steve.

I embrace being #AuDHD the same way I do being #Queer :
I’ve never “dated” someone who was AMAB.
I am generally happy in a masculine body.
I am attracted to and enjoy physical intimacy with AFAB people.

But I’ve had some deep friendships with men and would have embraced those becoming physical if they had offered. I’ve also had multiple partners who were nonbinary or transitioned while I knew them. And if it were possible to change one’s sex back and forth like a frog, I totally would.

This cat would NEVER vindictively poop on the floor or attack her cat housemate when she’s hangry or wake us up at 6 am on weekends
