Said goodbye to warm Gran Canaria yesterday evening, now back in cold weather conditions, but I brought the sun with me. Dude trying to find out if he’s still employed because no one will answer him and he’s basically treated like a cat toy by Musk and his stans. He wasn't badmouthing Elon or attacking Twitter, continually said that Elon had every right to lay him off, etc. The reaction of Musk and his fans is insane and so defensive. Right to victim mode, the poor helpless billionaire being bullied by the mean disabled former employee.

A thought on Wagner group and Bakmut. A viable off ramp for Putin in Ukraine might be to set up Wagner group to fail in Bakmut. If that happens the Donbas front will likely collapse prompting a withdrawal and Wagner becomes the scapegoat for the failure. Get out of Donbas, hold on to Crimea and show trial the head of Wagner group to avoid getting shot yourself. Seems like a plan... 🇺🇦

@jeffjarvis Jennifer Rubin has been a consistently critical voice against Trump and his ecosystem (pols, voters, media, acolytes) far longer than many Never Trumpers in the media. (I remember the absolute 💩 she got for it initially, too.) It's easy to become inured to Trump's insane ravings because he never shuts up; it becomes background noise.
