Steve was from Newport News, VA, but he settled into San Francisco in the time of the Greatful Dead. Last I heard he had moved to central Oregon. Steve wrote and passed out copies of a vanity book: "Flowers and Stones". Steve is missing his right thumb and at least one other finger.
