@GottaLaff Surely by banning ALL instruction on gender identity it means that kids can use any bathroom & do any sports they wish because they can argue that nobody has been able to teach them what gender they are and that telling them that they aren’t permitted to do something based on their gender is now prohibited as it would be classed as instructing them on gender identity.

Reddit's API is no longer free -- it is now charging for use!

I know how this goes.

First they talk about companies that "don’t return any value" to users.

A year later, they start charging everyone $42,000 for access to the lowest API tier.

What this is telling me, though, is that it's time for me to start investing in Fediverse groups that offer free API access.

I already have one group (@fediversenews) that's proven to be a success -- time to create more.

I read a post two days ago about a #ChatGTP exploit using a Grandmother's good night lullabye to get around a content block. I wanted to share it with someone today.

I neither bookmarked or favorited this Global feed toot from two days ago, and it was not from someone I followed. I can remember several elements in the toot, but not the exact author details, of course. Without hitting the exact hashtag I will never ever find it.
