This brown thrasher (Toxostoma rufum) came pretty close. I've photographed one of these birds before but not as clear. The first bird was on the forest floor in the shadows, and I barely noticed. The camo is pretty effective. I found the below quoted paragraph interesting because there are many brown headed cowbirds around here.

"Brown Thrashers are the largest common host of parasitic Brown-headed Cowbirds. The thrashers do put up some resistance, often rejecting cowbird eggs that are laid in their nests." - allaboutbirds.org

I'm glad she came forward with the evidence, but damn .... she actually said that she didn't realize Tucker was creating hate in his audience until Jan. 6th. She's not dumb ... so I'm left concluding that she's just as egotistical and morally corrupt as everyone else there (not coming forward until the harms to *her* were too much).

Shout out to the DMV agent who, when my mom said no to voter registration, looked her dead in the eye and said, "They're going to take away your grandchildren's rights, you need to register." and now my mom is finally registered to vote.
