There is no exceptionalism in profiting from mass shootings and their is no greatness in a system that has no resolve to protect its citizens. I love my country, I served it, but I hate what we are becoming.

It's not so much a question of malice versus incompetence as it is a question of a malicious person's narcissism fueling incompetence.

The content he likes is malicious, and he can't imagine people NOT liking it themselves.

Because he doesn't have enough ability to think outside himself and consider differing viewpoints truly existing.
