Phytoncides - the chemicals emitted by trees that protect them against germs & parasites, but which also benefit our nervous systems/immune response/mood.

Grateful for a lunchtime walk along this leafy lane - the mood uplift from fresh greens, the contrast between the first warmth of spring & the cool of the shadows, the body & mind resetting a bit after a morning in front of a screen.

I finished today the boardgame Legends of Sleepy Hollow. Overall it was interesting but the game got a bit boring towards the end and I felt like I was finishing it for the sake of completing it. It wasn’t hard, but it made me think. I guess that’s enough to entertain, but I would have liked more.

The world would be a better place if Erdogan loses in #Turkey, but same is true of the BJP in #India since all religious zealots are a bane to humanity. Such zeal results too often in terrorism.

Time to figure out a "simple dungeon" I was planning that has become "an experiment in 3-dimensional dungeon mapping that's going to totally end up over-complicated, naturally".

Start: 3 rooms connected by web-like ladders high up in a hollowed out mountain.

Now: Many chambers hanging like tree ornaments from, and connected by, decaying webs within a hollowed-out mountain with a vast, empty pit below that leads to a dark faerie realm.

Ugh. This is why I start with "you're all in an inn". 😅
