Ok. I’ve been playing with this tiny kitten for a few hours and I think I may have stumbled onto a source of energy that is way more efficient than nuclear fusion

A smile for your timeline.. 😊

Neither Jim Jordan nor his so-called whistleblowers should be taken seriously
The FBI was right to revoke these employees’ security clearances. Don’t let bad-faith hearings convince you otherwise.

YOUR GOP AMERICA! ELECTED MORONS RUNNING SCAM INVESTIGATIONS, MAKING THE USUAL FACTLESS ACCUSATIONS!

Another very wide cluster of sun spots - very patchy - are all of these patches interacting? I’d assume so but what does that mean for flares and CMEs?

Happy #Caturday, or is it Boxing Day? Let's call it Cat-In-A-Box Day.

A Florida woman was denied an abortion for her fetus with Potter syndrome which meant no survival outside the womb. She had to carry until 37 weeks & then go through labor, delivery, baby's death, funeral. ‘The law has created torture.’

Someone told these little cherubs its #Caturday on the #CatsOfMastodon

My 7 year old dashed into my room to ask, "what are those things called that chop people's heads off???"

I told her "guillotine."

After she ran off, I heard a distant "hey Alexa!" and made a mental note to follow up.

Turns out she asked Alexa what a guillotine looked like so she could build one.

At school.

During 1st grade art class.

A ridiculous mask study has been retracted: It found “Masks interfered with O2-uptake and CO2-release and compromised respiratory compensation” and concluded “mask wearing should not be mandated let alone enforced by law.” Objections were raised, and the journal investigated, concluding “the complaints were valid and that the article does not meet the standards of editorial and scientific soundness.”

Masks work. #WearAMask #COVID19

The Turkey Tail mushroom, also known as Trametes versicolor or Coriolus versicolor, grows on dead hardwood trees throughout the world. This particular dead tree was just loaded with these fungi that seem to grow in layers vertically up the tree and make a lovely nature abstract.

It used to be Democrats versus Republicans, liberals versus conservatives, left versus right.

That is over.

It is now democracy versus authoritarianism.

The 2024 election is fast approaching. Know the stakes.

"So, Mr Schroedinger. We meet again."

Not holding my breath. The Fascist Party doesn’t “negotiate.” They lie, gaslight, and cheat.

Via The Hill:

Republicans and the White House resumed #DebtCeiling talks, but a key GOP negotiator is not confident about coming to an agreement this weekend

My latest live hack demo using AI to clone a voice in a phone attack is airing on 60 Minutes this Sunday. Hope this message gets to the folks most commonly scammed using this method and stops at least one future attack.
