As an educator, the saddest thing about the last 2 generations is the rampant lack of basic curiosity about the world, Nature, science, etc.
Of course, there are exceptions, but in general, my students only want their phones, social media, Chik-Fil-A, drugs, video games and one-night-stand "hook-ups".
They don't read books, have no desire to learn, & want to stay in their own silos of ignorance.
I even had one angrily shout, "Why don't you just tell us what to think?"

Why aren’t we talking more about Trump’s business with the Saudis?

Good question from @pbump

Or as you ask more specifically, why isn't the Republican-led House Oversight Committee talking more about Trump's business with the Saudis?

This is what caring about others and not being ableist actually looks like: the Ida Public Library in Belvidere, Il is opening an hour before regular opening time just for immunocompromised people. All staff will be masked and those individuals can browse and spend an hour in the library feeling safe. Registering in advance is required so as to keep the general public out for that one hour. ❤️❤️❤️
